Happy 60th Dad!
My sisters & I hosted a lobster dinner for Dad and his closest friends. It was a great celebration...and the lobsters we flew in from the East Coast were well worth it!

Meet Ginger! Since we were going to get Scarlett a dog for her birthday in January anyway, and the coincidence of this little cutie showing up on Cory's doorstep at work, we thought it was meant to be and have decided to welcome another four-legged friend to the family. Scarlett first wanted to name her Gingerbread (with Christmas being near) and after much family discussion, we ended up naming her Ginger!

Cory found this abandoned little puppy at the lumberyard today. He took it down to Oh My Dog grooming and they did a complimentary clean up for her....she is so soft now. The kids enjoyed having a puppy around again and Scarlett made this little bed for the puppy to sleep in for the night.

I snuck this photo of Cory from outside the window at his work. He's hard at it late this evening, like most nights of the week.
He amazes me in many ways (I don't tell him enough), mostly with his confidence that everything is going to work out with this HUGE gamble we've taken on with the lumberyard. I am so grateful to have him to calm me down on almost a daily basis and remind me that everything is going to be OK. I shouldn't be so hard on him at times, he's doing a great job at everything and holding it all together for our family. I'm thankful for all he does for us!

I chaperoned the Grade 2's on a field trip to the Estevan Art Gallery today. The series of paintings on this wall are by one of my childhood art teachers, Linda Gudmundson.

Tonight we had another editorial shoot for Obviously Chic! Our theme was Glitz & Glam and we had a blast capturing styles for upcoming holiday promos.
We had some newcomers to our shoot tonight, Landon (my new photography assistant), Brogan (Jess's new girl) and my sister Amber to style hair...the team is becoming pretty amazing and everyone brings their own specialities.
I love looking at these behind the scenes photos because it's a memory of the great times we have together each time we have a shoot...not only do we challenge ourselves to create, but it's a way of looking back on how far we've come!

Stopped in at the EFC Hot Chocolate Bar as we walked around town for the annual Kick-Off To Christmas event when most of the local stores are open for late night shopping followed by the Town Christmas Tree Lighting.
